Let’s get into our next sign in the series, Gemini. The Twins are light hearted and goofy. Master’s of communication, but today we are going to look at the different symbols and associations hidden within Gemini.

It’s important to note that it’s the key of the song. Not the overall vibe. The Ketchup Song– Las Ketchup is not a Gemini anthem by any means. However, the overall key of the song is what helps to bring forward that energy

For a good meal that will wake you up and keep you going. Bringing on the Gemini energy, and making you feel light and smooth. I have a nice brunch menu item in hand.
My personal recommendation is lavender-honey whole grain toast with a blueberry ricotta schmear.
Gemini is all about the nerves, and brain, and just like Aries they can be moving too fast to be creating something elaborate. To bring in these flavors together will help keep the brain moving, without bogging down the system.
Gemini’s main color is turquoise and yellow. Bright vibrant colors that bring forward that mental sting that Gemini is known for. Bright and flashy, and certainly eye catching like they tend to be.
This extends in to Mercury as well, the turquoise being associated with the communicative properties associated with the planet closest to the sun.
For crystals and minerals you are going to be looking at:

- Pearl
The different properties of these crystals are said to bring forward mental clarity, focus, and intuition. While also providing the grounding that Gemini really needs.
Scents
Scents associated with Taurus include:
Peppermint, lavender, and lemongrass.
These three aromas bring in a mix of mental clarity, relaxation, and helps to boost ones motivation to keep going on. Bringing forward the vitality that Gemini needs in a day to day.
Material Element
The ruling metal for Taurus is Quicksilver traditionally, though most just use Silver at this point.
Silver brings the good luck that Gemini needs to thrive. It provides emotional balance, and ignites intuitive properties. (Although Silver is aligned with the Moon).

In the major arcana. The Tarot Card that represents Gemini is the Lovers.
The lover’s signifies a connection with other people, and being able to have a mental connection on a deeper level. taking in opposing ideas, and making them work within each other. Finding that reconciliation within another person, while also accepting yourself for who you are in your entirety.
In The minor arcana, we have five different cards associated with Gemini:
The court cards that belong to Gemini are the King of Swords and the Page of Swords: The Page of Swords calls to all Air signs, asking you to relish in your ambitions and drive, questioning the reality around you, and broadening your horizons. Where as the Knight of Swords calls to Gemini specifically. Which calls for impulsivity, sticking your ground, and fighting for what your personal beliefs.

9 of Swords- Looking at anxieties and fears, finding out why the afflict you
10 of Swords- Changing old patterns of thinking, redefining yourself, and rediscovery of beliefs
Flowers and Herbs
One of the main flowers associated with Gemini is the morning glory. You can see that in the Valentine’s post from this year. Some other flowers widely associated with Gemini are the Madia and Lavender.
For herbs the three most widely associated with our earth sign are lavender, peppermint, and skullcap.

The constellation of Gemini has the same name and in english it is “The Twins”. It is made up of 17 stars, and is best seen in the winter in the Northern hemisphere.

The element that Taurus belongs to is Air.

Modality
The modality or energy for this sign is Mutable. Mutable signs carry adaptable energy. They’re very open minded, and are good communicators. All of these are traits that are held closely by Gemini.
House
Gemini holds the key to the third house. The house of communications. It speaks to short trips, siblings, how you interact with the people around you in close consort.
Season
Gemini comes at the end of spring. This is the time of looking back and reflecting as to what the Spring has given you. It’s a time of uncertainty. You aren’t moving forward eyet, and things are unpredictable. You can smell the summer on the wind, but for now- you just relish in the final moments of cool air.
Body
Gemini rules over the lungs and arms. Two sets. When Gemini is talking they express themselves fully and wholeheartedly. Making sure to use their last breath to say what they need, and they are typically very animated.
There may be a problem with asthma or lots of childhood injuries to these areas.
