Second House

So to start the second house focus’ on what a person values. This can vary from person to person, and what is valued isn’t always material. This includes personal values, things that are important to you. It also applies to material possessions, and the things you own. This showcases different work ethics, and how you can keep yourself to a schedule. This house is ruled by Taurus and Venus. The two showcasing their individual traits in this house by illuminating how people showcase their own stability, and perseverance to get the luxuries they want. The second house also deals in communication styles and can lend a hand to how your voice comes across
So just like last time let’s break this down, sign by sign and planet by planet.
The Signs and Planets
Aries and Mars

Aries
When you put the Ram into the second how you’re gonna see someone who goes after their desires, and what they want. However, that doesn’t necessarily mean they’re going to achieve that.
Aries are incredibly compulsive spenders, and their money leaves fast than it comes- often. But they do pride themselves on their work ethic. Constantly at the grind so they can spend their funds. They don’t have savings accounts. Everything just goes into checking and then they get what they want.
They do value their independence- they don’t want to have to financially depend on anyone else for what they want. So when you have a quick spending Aries in this placement. They are going to do their best to try to remain on their own for as long as fiscally possible. This is why their voice comes across as more urgent, advocating for their own needs and wants appearing to others as more direct.
Mars
Mars is an incredibly possessive sign. If you find your Mars within this house, you may be more prone to feeling the need to hold on to what’s yours. Yet, similar to Aries- one of the things that a Mars in this sign is prone to is spending quickly.
Mars is the planet of ambition, and conquering. When they are found within the second house they are going to do their best to achieve the goals they need. (Sign dependent), Mars can be incredibly impulsive. Finding the need to assert themselves over whatever job they have. Needing to achieve and get what they want. In much more of a possessive and needing way than Aries- it has more of a compulsive, less childish connotation.
Mars’ voice in the second house may come across as incredibly assertive, and near biting this can lead to issues with vocal strains and harshness.

Taurus and Venus

Taurus
Putting the Bull in to it’s home pen so to speak breathes someone who is able to gain financials, and possessions easily. They having very strong work ethics, and can more than easily gain the systems of where they are found to have a job.
They want to have lives of luxuries and that’s only gained through getting money right? So a Taurus is going to work (not above and beyond), but they are going to do their best to fully gain the salary they need in order to achieve the comfort they wish to see. A Taurus doesn’t feel like themselves- if they aren’t pulling forward the life they are trying to gain.
A Taurus in the second house is said to have a very eloquent voice and could easily work in radio, or podcasts. Bringing smooth vibes to those around them.
Venus
When Venus arrives in the second house it finds itself craving luxurious items, and putting a higher value on them than anything. People with this placement tend to have a magnet in themselves that attracts wealth and good fortune their way. They value people who can earn and adorn them with the finer things in life, always looking for that luxury.
However this is a planet that overall fosters artistic inclinations in the arts, oftentimes leading to that pursuit of wealth. As I said Venus favors the finer things in life and what’s finer than the fine arts? Their voice is often claimed to be incredibly eloquent, and they are well spoken when Venus arrives here.
Venus second house natives are also more inclined to bring about good familial relationships with others, fostering a wealth of people to lean on and to adore.

Gemini and Mercury

Gemini
The twins are your finance bros. They are smooth talking eloquent, and vivacious when they go about bringing in their financial gain. They use their intellectual pursuits to find industries and promote ideas that end up bringing them the wealth they seek.
However, not too dissimilar from Aries, they also have an issue with spending. One twin seems to make the money, while the other head is looking to where they can spend it. Sharing cash flows between two minds never seems to end well. This is because Gemini tends to lack the focus of the long term. Like a kid in a candy store- instead of going for the unbreakable gobstopper, they go for cotton candy, rather getting their sweet fix instantly than wait it out to see the many colors of the rainbow.
Gemini’s tend to have more of a rasp to their voice than others, them being the planet of communication- they can’t stop chatting. It seems like their voice knew this before anyone else. Think that light crisp on the voice that’s peppy and excited, but has just gotten over a cold and you’ve got yourself a Gemini.
Mercury
When you put the planet of communication into the second house you get yourself a salesman. They can easily talk you into or out of a sale (and push you to where you want to go).
Like Gemini (and Virgo) they go for mental pursuits. They are more focused on the analytical pursuits. Where Gemini may focused on the social aspect, and Virgo on the practical material affects of those intellectual pursuits. So with a mercury in this position (dependent on the sign they are in) will follow the intellectual pursuits based off of that sign.
Because of this strong focus’ on personal beliefs and the charge forward in the pursuit of knowledge a Mercury in the second house will live and die by their personal beliefs. Often leading to a very calculated, and analytical tone when they speak. Seeming above others.

Cancer and the Moon

Cancer
The little crab like to make their home look nice. They will invest a lot of time and energy into making their home comfortable. With that being said, they have a good work ethic. They want to provide for their home, and for the loved ones inhabiting their home.
I wouldn’t be amiss to say that when Cancer goes out shopping and they see a little trinket that would enhance their house- they’re gonna get it. It’s the nature of the Cancer. This does lead to a very emotional attachment to the items they pick up- especially if they got it with someone in mind. I.E Cancer in the second house can very much become a hoarder very easily. Prizing their possessions.
A Cancer’s voice is very soft, and nurturing think parent comforting a child through something hard. It carries a compassion like no other, offering a safe feeling to all who hear it.
The Moon
When you place the moon into the second house- you get someone who is really good at managing their personal budget. They are very intuitive with their spending, knowing how to differentiate between needs and wants. The moon make smart purchases, and can very easily tell when something is a later thing.
They like having financial security and want to feel safe. This extends over to the less material aspect of their values as well. Highly valuing personal and family matters with as great as a reverence as they value their material possessions. Their voice tends to take on a more feminine tone, sounding light and soft and is usually in a higher octave.

Leo and the Sun

Leo
Because Leo thrives in the limelight, that carries into the second house too. When you put the lion here you find someone who wants to spend to be at front and center. They’re the people who go on vacations, and share it all online that they were able to go do this. The Lion also likes to share their wealth often spending on others, and often giving forward acts of charity.
They want people to notice that they are living the good life and they want to be able to experience it, often favoring the grandeur of vacations and being treated like royalty versus having the material possessions to show it off. Though that isn’t to say they just buy any old thing either- they like high quality goods when they do consider material possessions. Leo speaks with the same fire and authority as a star in the summer sky. Their voice draws people in and they want (and will) listen to this placement, whether they want to or not.
It’s just that magnetic.
The Sun
When you bring the sun into this placement you will find someone highly attached to personal and material value. That’s their goal in life. Is to accumulate materials, and people like they’re collectors edition. Their drive is strong influenced by the accumulation of wealth and they have a very strong work ethic. I would take a closer look at the sign it’s in to get a better look at what that specific drive is.
This placement tends to have a very confident, and domineering approach when it comes to talking with others. Charismatic, but, domineering. It can easily drive people off and make them feel as though you’re haughty. It’s up to you to tone it down, and check the speech to ensure that you can practice humility within this placement.

Virgo

Virgo
Here in the second house and visiting Virgo, you find the person who has their taxes done in January. Has everything budgeted down to the last cent. Checks their bank account several times a day, and especially after a shopping trip.
Virgo in the second house is very focused on material possessions, and the physical aspect of money and wealth. With the Maiden’s practical nature this manifests into micromanaging their funds to a T trying to ensure financial stability. However, one of the things that is often seen within this kind of placement is almost a neurotic way of thinking. It can easily spiral out of control, and they can become obsessive if they feel they aren’t doing enough.
Because of their attention to detail, and not wanting anything to be missed. Their voices take on a similar trait. Speaking clearly, and to the point ensuring nothing is lost on the people they’re speaking to.
Virgo’s ruling planet is found under the Gemini tab, if you would like to head over there to take a look.

Libra

Libra
The Scales like to balance things, including their check books. When you have a Libra placed here you are going to find someone who doesn’t like to go to either extreme when it comes to spending versus saving. Similar to their sister in this sign Taurus, a Libra can become very much focused on the material items in their life.
However, they place aesthetic over wealth in that manner. They will happily get a $4 knick knack from a thrift shop if it fits their vibe more than the $40 one that doesn’t fit their vibe at all. They like adorning themselves with the things that make them happy, and search for the harmony that they can bring to the world around them.
A Libra’s voice is often described as something even. They have an even tone, even key, smooth, and non-grating. It’s fairly melodious and can very well bring peace as the diplomat of the Zodiac.
Their ruling planet Venus was covered in Taurus if you would like to head on down there to take a look.

Scorpio and Pluto

Scorpio
For a Scorpio it’s not really about the material possessions they have, or even wealth in general. More about their personal relationship with these things. To have a Scorpio in this house is to fully analyze your own values, and why you care about what you care about.
A Scorpio might realize that they have a high attachment to their material possessions after reflection, and then uses that to help push them into a career to better help gain those materials. Or they might find they have no desire to accumulate material possessions and would rather find something that is actually fulfilling to them.
The voice of a Scorpio is often said to be deep, and rhapsodic- a darker charisma that pull people to want to listen cause it always kinda feels like they’re on the verge of telling you a secret about yourself.
Pluto
According to the Hellenistic pantheon. Pluto was not only the God of the underworld, but of the wealth found in the earth. To have this planet here is to find someone who can easily be motivated by greed, wealth and power. They are incredibly controlling when it comes to their finances (if they have a partner, they might want to pool their resources together just to make sure everything’s coming in and out as it should).
Should a Pluto placement lose their job or means of finance in anyway it can send the person spiraling until it is regained. Feeling as though they have lost their purpose in the world. It takes a lot of time and energy to look through this placement, and to ensure healthy habits are encourage so one isn’t lost to these being the only motivators in life.
A Pluto’s voice is said to be near mesmerizing- something you can’t turn off and that whispers in the back of your mind calling it to listen to what they have to say.

Sagittarius and Jupiter

Sagittarius
Having the archer in this placement calls for someone who can readily give up their material possessions. They don’t really need them, money comes and it goes. It’s not that big of a deal. That being said it very hard for Sagittarius to hold on to money. Not really accumulating or valuing wealth.
That is, until, it gets to being able to travel. They have a strong work ethic- wanting to be able to go and see the sights and open their minds to the world. Especially if it’s within a field that they admire or even nurtures their adventurous spirit.
The archer’s voice is described to be that of someone who is fairly loud, not to say unpleasant by all means. But definitely loud, it carries. But it’s hard not to when you have a generally optimistic sign who’s just feeling themselves.
Jupiter
You lucky dog. A person having this placement is tended to find a butt ton of luck in their path when it comes to getting money. Random pay bumps, or that scratch off you bought on a whim that got you an extra $50 in your pocket? I mean that Jupiter working for you.
In all seriousness, though, Jupiter does tend to manage their money well. They seem to have the experience of someone whos run this track a couple times, and they know exactly what’s important and what’s not. Easily building their prosperity should they wish to. Not to say that they can’t have some challenges in spending- they certainly do. If they see something they like- they wanna get it. It’s just the way it goes, but they do rebuild that wealth like none other.
Jupiters voice is said to be endearingly sweet, and like someone’s humming a song from long ago- pulling you in and you just want to listen and see what they have to say.

Capricorn and Saturn

Capricorn
Would it be a surprise to anyone if I said that Capricorn really knows how to manage their money? They are planners, and plan out for their futures to the utmost detail, of course finances take place in this. This means taking their time to go through their budget to make sure they’re in the black.
A lot of this has to do with the personal motivation of making sure they are achieving things. They’re a cardinal sign at heart, and that’s what helps them push forward into the long-term future. Medals, awards, promotions, raises- whatever they can get they want it, and that’s what helps them build their foundations.
Their voice low and measured. They’re very careful with their words, and how they express themselves. They rather be wary with their words now than regret something they said down the line.
Saturn
Similar to Capricorn Saturn likes to work with their finances and has a strong motivation for financial security and longevity. However, a distinct difference between the two is that where Capricorn can accept a financial disaster, and work their way through it. Saturn can’t. Saturn can fall into mental ruin the moment they feel as though their finances have taken a turn for the worse and can’t really get themselves out of the slump.
It’s important when having a Saturn in this placement that you take a step back, and re-evaluate on your own time, and take the set backs when they come at you.
Saturn can come across as rude, and down right cruel in this placement. They can sound incredibly judgmental, and downright rude.

Aquarius and Uranus

Aquarius
Putting the most humanitarian and unconventional sign in this placement is an interesting one for sure. They don’t really see the need to amass wealth- but they can do it. They don’t see the need to work for corporations- but will happily work for areas that help to promote other people and the world.
Aquarius is really hard to describe in the second house. They have a decent work ethic, but only when it comes to things they are truly passionate about, working well within the regulations of where they do work. The water bearer holds their personal values above all other material or financial motives, and often strives to achieve the best outcome outside of themselves.
They have an interesting way of talking- it’s not unpleasant, but it’s unique that could be in tone, clarity, or it may just not seem to fit their face very well. As though you expected a completely different voice to come out of it.
Uranus
Unlike Jupiter’s placement where they get financial gains fairly easily and wealth seems to find them- Uranus experiences a strange flux of money, gaining and losing money at the weirdest turns, and it can be fairly large when it happens. Often leading to a new direction of thinking or evaluation of their current state.
Like the sign that it rules, Uranus tends to find they like making money in strange and odd ways. Often having a prevalent talent leading them down that course of the road. But that’s kind of to be expected by the planet that defies societal norms and breaks the rules for fun, isn’t it?
When it comes to their voice it may have a lot of rises and falls in their natural cadence, and it wouldn’t be a surprise to say they have vocal talent. They have an interesting way of speech leading to one of those unconventional talents that could pull in a cash flow.

Pisces and Neptune

Pisces
Oh little fishy, you are certainly weird when it comes to this house. You make a lot of your financial decisions based off of your intuition and the way you’re feeling at that particular moment. Not leading to a very good outlook for the long run. However, that’s not to say it’s a bad thing. Sometimes your intuition is right. There is no really structure or strategy about how you go about your spending habits, or your earning habits. A lot of it really just goes off of your passions, and what you think looks good.
Pisces values their creative spirit above anything, whether that’s in writing, art, poetry, or crafting in some manner. It’s a really fun little thing they got going for themselves, and it can be a very fulfilling life. However, you do have to stop listening to your gut all the time and maybe go talk to a Capricorn about some better habits.
Pisces is said to have a very comforting and soft voice, kind of like someone who’s in the middle of sleep talking. You can’t quite tell if they’re talking to you or through you.
Neptune
Neptune has big dreams, and passions and things they want to pursue. This can lead to thinking that if they indulge themselves in the areas where they feel most keen that they may actually get something out of it. While this can be beneficial for Neptune it can often lead to misadventures and missed investments. Not really the way to go about managing finances.
As for personal values for this planet they tend to shift and evolve over time, especially as Neptune learns more about themselves, and the world around them. It’s ever changing and leads to a unique outlook on life.
Neptunes voice tends to sound soft, and like it doesn’t even exist on this plane of reality. Seeming to weave and wander it’s way in melodic fashions and cadence. Similar to a gust of warm wind in the winter- you just can’t tell where its coming from.
